Compassionate Communication Workshop

Founded by UW-Madison alum, Marshall Rosenburg, PhD, compassionate communication is based on the principals of non-violence. In this workshop, we will examine our language, how we communicate with ourselves and others, and the impact mindfulness and meditation has.
In this FUN & interactive workshop we will show:
How to gain new ways of speaking honestly & listening compassionately
How to communicate in a style that supports you and your interactions with others, without compromising each other's needs
How culture has structured violent strategies to communicate & how to undo them
How our actions are ways to meet one or more of our basic needs
In addition, you will learn:
The essential role mindfulness & meditation can have in how we relate with ourselves and others
Different meditation techniques and stress management tools to help cope with today's pressures
The latest research on the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual benefits of meditation
Join us as we access peace, find greater authenticity, increased understanding, deepening connection and conflict resolution.
